Speed Sensor Pickups, Reed switch, Hall effect and mechanical drive convertors

The ACEWELL speedos are available with the following types of speed sensor as follows:

Sensors can be bought as replacement parts for £16.45 each. The part number in the speedo must be underlined to be able to work with hall effect and mechanical drive speedos

If upgrading check your Acewell speedo screen - example below:

• ACE-3100 - NOT compatible with hall effect sensors
• ACE-3100 - IS compatible with hall effect sensors
• If no part number is displayed and there is just an ACEWELL logo then the speedo is compatibe with hall effect sensors unless a sticker on the back states otherwise

When ordering a speedo there is a choice of sensor:

The ACE-C or ACE-S is included in the price.
To upgrade to any other sensor at time of ordering the additional charge is £9.95

ACE-C - Reed switch

This is the standard speed sensor, and will fit most applications
As the magnet fitted to the driveshaft or disk passes the sensor, a revolution of the wheel is counted by the speedo

ACE-S - Reed switch

This is an optional reed switch speed sensor, supplied as standard with some models. (Internally exactly the same as ACE-C, just a different external shape)

ACE-G - Reed Switch

The bolt type hall sensor can be mounted through a bulkhead on a kit car, or through the front hub on a quad bike (DS650, z400 etc). 8mm diameter thread

ACE-S3 - Hall sensor

The bolt type hall sensor can be mounted through a bulkhead on a kit car, or through the front hub on a quad bike (DS650, z400 etc). 12mm diameter thread

Mechanical Cable drives (Hall effect)
The adaptor wire connects to the mechanical drive output, and converts the rotation into an electrical signal to input to the ACEWELL
 

ACE-S2 - Speedo cable drive

Connects to the speedo end of your original speedo cable, and the pass through enables your original speedo to be retained as well as the Acewell.
Assumes original speedometer is fitted with M12 threaded input.

ACE-S12 - Speedo cable drive

Connects to the speedo end of your original speedo cable, uses the original cable for strength (off road bikes usually have armoured cables) Fits all bikes where the original speedometer was fitted with M12 threaded input. As ACE-S2 but without the pass through.

ACE-S4 - Speedo cable drive

Replaces original speedo drive cable on Honda CRF450, Yamaha, KTM, Husky, CCM, Husaberg, Moto-Guzzi, Ducatti, MZ.

ACE-S5 - Speedo cable drive

Replaces original speedo drive cable on Honda XR & some Yamaha dirt bikes.

ACE-S6 - Speedo cable drive

Replaces original speedo drive cable on Kawasaki KLX / KDX and Suzuki DRZ.

ACE-S10 - Speedo cable drive

Replaces original speedo drive cable on many Suzuki and Kawasaki.

ACE-R - Direct connection

Connect to the 3 pin gearbox output on Yamaha / MZ motorcycles & quads
If ordering for Raptor 660 / 700 includes all cabling for direct plug-in to bike.
Only compatible with "B" models in black case with black buttons
